Holmfirth Civic Hall has announced they will be putting on their yearly Advent Raffle in order to help raise some much-needed funds for the building.
With the majority of their large fundraising events having been cancelled for the majority of 2020, the community trust that manages the building is hoping the raffle will bring vital funds to the hall in the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Prior to local restrictions, The building was used for a wide variety of activities including concerts and theatre performances, badminton and fitness classes, exhibitions and conferences, and meetings.
Several local businesses in Holmfirth have supported the raffle, with several donating prizes.
Prizes will be drawn every day between 1st and 20th December, with chances to win Christmas Hampers, Bubbly Cream Tea for 2, Magic Rock Vouchers, and more.
Tickets for the raffle will go on sale on 1st November, at £2 each, available directly from the hall management team or online.
