Last year WOVEN celebrated Worldwide Knit in Public Day with The Big Knit.
Now, WOVEN in Kirklees have a new challenge. In June 2021 WOVEN aims to yarn bomb Huddersfield Train Station – specifically the six pillars at the front of the station.
To achieve this goal WOVEN need a minimum of 2500 squares to be knitted or crocheted and they need your help to accomplish this. Whether you are an expert or a complete beginner, you can get involved in contributing to the giant yarn bomb.
WOVEN have launched ‘how to’ videos so that everyone feels welcome to join in and contribute to The Big Rainbow Knit, even those who have never knitted or crocheted before.
There is also a Facebook group where people can ask questions and share photos of their creations.
WOVEN need as many people to join in as possible. To get involved and for more information, you can visit Woven in Kirklees’ Website.
