THE RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & District branch are hosting their very first Motown night at Elland’s prestigious venue, Berties. The event is being held on the bank holiday weekend of Friday 26th May and will begin at 7pm until 11pm.
Tickets are just £5 each and all money raised will go directly to the local RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & District branch.
Fay Gibbons, Events Coordinator said “Our Motown night is going to be great fun for all music lovers to enjoy the hits of Motown and Soul and boogie on down! We’ll be playing the best selection of Motown classics, with a live DJ and all whilst helping raise funds for the care of so many local animals in need.”
Tickets can be purchased by calling 07399 587618, visiting your local RSPCA charity shop or can be booked online with Skiddle.com.
There are also a limited number of tables of 10, which can be booked for groups at no extra cost if you act fast.
Fay said, “It’s perfect if you’re looking for something fun to start off the bank holiday weekend with a bang! So why not dance the night away whilst supporting your local RSPCA at the same time?”
The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield and District Branch are a self-funded branch of the National RSPCA, responsible for raising money locally to support our animal welfare work. Our main aim is to rehabilitate unwanted, abandoned and abused animals and find them loving, permanent homes. We rely on public donations and the generosity of our local community to keep the doors of our animal centre open.
