Newsome Community Fun Day is packed full of free, fun activities for people of all ages.
Come and enjoy this celebration of 20 years of volunteering and fantastic community activity in the Newsome Ward. The day will be a great showcase of all the community groups and activities in the area – come and find out about all the amazing things that are happening right on your doorstep.
You can enjoy a wide range of free activities, including:
- Bouncy castles
- Surf simulator
- Face painting
- Entertainment
- Games
- Demonstrations
Meet lots of local community organisations and try out their activities.

Newsome Ward Community Forum brings together the people of the Newsome area. We meet to discuss issues of interest and concern, and we work together to improve our local area and provide opportunities for community participation. We run projects in response to the interests of Newsome Ward residents. Our group is run entirely by volunteers.
