Exciting Funding Opportunities for Community Groups in Kirklees and Northeast England

Attention all community leaders and community groups in Kirklees and Northeast England! New funding opportunities are now available, explicitly targeting Black African and Caribbean (BAC) communities and underrepresented groups. The project, spearheaded by a collaboration with Black African and Caribbean (BAC) community groups, aims to provide grants and leadership programs to uplift and strengthen our and support impactful projects that make a difference.

One of the highlighted programs is the Connected Voices Programme, a community leadership capacity-building initiative generously funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). This tailored program is designed for community groups in Kirklees from BAC and underrepresented communities. the program is scheduled to run from June to September 2024.

In addition to the Connected Voices Programme, Amplify and Magnify grants are available. These grants offer up to 10,000 pounds to fund exceptional community ideas and projects. They cover many areas, including leadership, community engagement, and creating safe neighbourhoods. The deadline for Amplify and Magnify grants is July 31, 2024.
