Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice will once again be collecting real Christmas trees across West Yorkshire between the 6th and 14th January 2024, for a minimum donation of just £10.

In 2023, Forget Me Not’s volunteers collected 1,650 real Christmas trees from local homes and businesses, raising vital funds for the charity that supports local children with life-shortening conditions and their families.

Georgia Lane, Forget Me Not’s fundraising manager, said: “Our tree collection service makes it easy to recycle your real Christmas tree once the festivities are over. All you have to do is place your order online and then you can relax, knowing it’s taken care of. Every penny raised will help us support local children and families.”

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports babies and children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire.

Forget Me Not offers a wide range of services right from pregnancy, including nursing care, hydrotherapy, creative therapy, days out, memory making, end-of-life care, bereavement support and counseling, and much more, all available to the whole family.

With just a fraction of the funds it needs coming from the government, the charity must raise over £5.5m in charitable donations each year to ensure it can give the children and families the support they need.
