School Leaders, Academics and Consultants Recognised for Driving Transformative Change

The Institute for Equity, University Centre (IEUC) has congratulated 20 professionals who have successfully completed a range of academic and professional qualifications in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

The successful candidates were awarded the following qualifications:

• Certificate in Inclusive Curriculum Leadership
• Certificate in Leading Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
• EDI Fellowship ©

All 20 awardees have led meaningful change in EDI within their organisations and across diverse professional practice communities, from primary education to higher education and consultancy.

Certificate in Inclusive Curriculum Leadership

Those admitted to the Certificate in Inclusive Curriculum Leadership are:

• Sian Abram – Deputy Headteacher, Blackburn St Stephen’s CofE Primary
• Jess Banner – Assistant Headteacher, Archbishop Temple CofE High
• Clare Madbouli – Assistant Headteacher, Blackburn St James’ CofE Primary
• Helen Porter – Deputy Headteacher, Barrow United Reform Church Primary
• Emma Prentki – Deputy Headteacher, Standish St Wilfrids CofE Primary Academy
• Julian Rogers – Headteacher, Blackburn St Matthews CofE Primary
• Clare Taylor – Senior Assistant Headteacher, St James’ Blackburn CofE Primary
• Hayley Whittaker – Deputy Headteacher, Arkholme CofE Primary
• Zoe Mills – Deputy Headteacher, Great Harwood St John’s CofE Primary

This cohort was jointly sponsored by participants’ host schools and the Blackburn Diocesan Board of Education.

Driving Structural Change Through Evidence-Led Leadership
