As the new school year kicks off, Brambles Primary Academy opens its new school buildings to pupils and staff for the first time.
Kirklees Council funded the new building and managed to complete the build for the new school year. It is now open, full of complete and new classrooms, dining areas and curriculum support places. The staff and pupils will also enjoy extended kitchen facilities and new and improved play areas.
The school was established in 2018 and supports three year groups. Before the new building was finished, the groups had been in temporary modular buildings.
The new building offers the school’s children and staff top quality, permanent facilities that will provide modern learning environments compared to the temporary facilities.
The space will enable Brambles Primary Academy to offer more places for local children. Over the coming years, it will continue to expand its school community up to a maximum capacity of 420 pupils.
