Hundreds of climate protesters gathered at St Georges Square to stage a day of strike action, to call the government to recognise and combat the effects of climate change.
The non-violent protest pledged for radical action against climate change. People came in their masses to show their solidarity with the strike, live music accompanied the event on a sunny Friday afternoon. The climate protest in Huddersfield was just one of its kind, with thousands being held up and down the country, targeting the government bodies and polluting industries to step forward and intervene, fighting the climate change epidemic.
