About Dr Hussain

Dr. Sarah Hussain, a Huddersfield-based author and educator, has a distinguished literary background.

Her novella, Escaped from Syria, was a finalist in the People’s Book Prize Award, showcasing her ability to tackle challenging subjects with sensitivity and insight.

In 2018, Dr. Hussain won the Ms. Shakespeare competition in Yorkshire, which led to the commission of a monologue performed on International Women’s Day.
