Kirklees Youth Alliance is looking for a volunteer to support their Youth Workers at a Youth Club in Mirfield on Friday evenings.
This is a good opportunity to gain experience working with young people, especially if applicants are considering teaching, youth work, counselling, or social work.

Role Description:
Volunteer Youth Workers will be supporting a youth group in Mirfield on Friday evenings from 7 pm – 9 pm.
The role will typically involve the following tasks:
- Helping to set up activities.
- Welcoming young people to the youth club and signing them in.
- Encouraging young people to take part in activities.
- Building supportive relationships with young people.
- Supporting young people who need additional help to engage with activities.
- Tidying up at the end of the session.
Applicants must be 16 years old and above.
Requirements:
- DBS (criminal record check that the organisation will organise).
