Kumon Y’all is an organisation based in Dewsbury that recognises that all communities within the UK have their own problems, whether that be drugs, crime, poor health, anti-social behaviour, and so on.

Their mission is to refuse to ignore the problems facing communities but to try to tackle the problem or find a solution.

Kumon Y’all will be holding their 10th Annual Family Funday on 22nd July 2023, 9 am-5 pm. This will be held at Savile Town Sports Field, Dewsbury, WF12 9LP.

In the early days, this event had around 400 people attending.  Last year the figure went up to over 5000 people.  There have been lots of surprises planned to mark their 10-year anniversary, along with their signature BBQ.

There will be lots of activities on the day for the whole family to enjoy, including archery, children’s fair rides, and various playable sports. There will also be specially designed activities for those with additional needs.  Beyond the activities, there will also be various stalls offering all sorts of goods and even a tasty BBQ for when everyone starts to get hungry.

They will also be holding an under 13’s, under 15’s, and an open-age football tournament on the day.
