This Halloween, The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford branch and Huddersfield BID have planned the first-ever Zombie Walkies event.
All local families and their dogs are welcome to come along to the event. It will around Huddersfield Town Centre on Sunday 31 October.
Attendees can come in fancy dress and enjoy the dog and family-friendly walk around the town centre; visiting a range of spooky stalls, games, food and trick or treat stops.
The event is free to attend. Participants are encouraged to dress up, make a donation or raise sponsorship on their walk for the local RSPCA.
You can sign up for the Zombie Walkies event now and secure a Zombie Walkies goody bag. Alternatively, you can sign up on the day. The Zombie Walkies starts from 11am at St Peter’s Gardens, Byram Street in Huddersfield Town Centre.
All are welcome to the event, including those who would just like to visit the Halloween hub of stalls and games at St. Peter’s Gardens.
First-ever Zombie Walkies
Lauren Moore, Fundraising Manager said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to our first Zombie Walkies and can’t wait to see the costumes people turn up in!
“As a local, self-funded branch of the RSPCA, we rely heavily on our community’s support to help us care for all the animals in our Centre and we really hope people will take part in this event with or without their four-legged friends. You can even just pop down to say hello – or should that be Howloooooo!”

All funds raised at Zombie Walkies go towards the local RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford branch. The best dressed fancy dressers, whether child, adult or dog could be in for a chance to win rosettes and prizes.
