Musica Kirklees provide access to music education through high-quality teaching with a range of musical projects and programmes for schools, young people and the local community.
Musica is respected across the country with a proven track record of excellence. This reputation is kept alive by continual development of their staff, who learn new ways of discovering and nurturing talent and provide exciting performance opportunities.
Their 70 specialist teachers support around 9,000 individuals a year to play over 30 types of instruments or to learn to sing.
All ages and abilities are welcome at Musica’s five centres in Batley, Colne Valley, Holme Valley, Mirfield and Shelley.
They offer tuition in music theory and aural perception, with opportunities to play in orchestras, bands, groups or to sing in their choir.
