Just Helping, a UK charity founded in 2012, has been dedicated to inspiring and supporting people, businesses, charities, and community organisations to volunteer and contribute to their local communities.
Known for organising fun community events, Just Helping provides a platform for volunteering and fundraising for local causes, continually expanding its network of volunteer teams across the UK.
One of the most beloved events organised by Just Helping is the Christmas Tree-cycling Collection.
This flagship event has been growing every year, aiming to offer Christmas Tree-cycling in every postcode within the next three years.
The event brings together thousands of volunteers and hundreds of organisations to collect and recycle Christmas trees, providing a valuable community service while raising funds for local charities.
Raising Money for Charity
In January 2024, more than 4,200 volunteers across 64 locations helped Just Helping collect and recycle 65,000 trees, raising an impressive £1.18 million for local charities and community projects.
The event engages a large number of people to donate to good causes and promotes a sense of community spirit.
This year, Just Helping is looking for more community-spirited and talented individuals to join their team of Trustees. If you have a big heart, some spare time, and relevant experience, they would love to hear from you. You can reach out by emailing admin@justhelping.org.uk or visiting their contact page.
