The Lawrence Batley Theatre has announced it will host the ultimate challenge in its iconic courtyard, inviting brave participants to walk barefoot over red-hot embers to raise money for charity.

The event aims to bring the Huddersfield community together to hit a vital £5,000 fundraising target, ensuring the local theatre charity can continue its essential work in the region.

Organisers are calling on individuals, and local businesses looking for the ultimate team-building exercise to sign up.

To secure a spot on the coals, participants can sign up for £20 and are asked to raise a minimum of £100 for Lawrence Batley Theatre.
