In February, an update regarding the construction of Knowl Park House, a new dementia daycare in Mirfield, was announced.
What has been happening?
Since we last covered Knowl Park House in December last year, there have several new additions to the site. One of these new additions is the completion of the base for the sprinkler tank.
Contractors have been working on the terracotta rainscreen system around the building, and the scaffolding around the feature roof and the main entrance has been removed.

The final roof lights have been installed alongside the completion of the screeding of the internal floors. The contractors have progressed with work in the courtyard, with work continuing on the block paving and edges.
What is next?
For the next steps in the construction of the site, contractors are about to start work on the ceilings and will be continuing the plastering and painting within the building.
The contractors are also set to complete the hard landscaping that is currently taking place within the courtyard.
