Cosmia Festival, a popular science fiction literature festival, is set to return this weekend (22 April) with a one-day event that promises to be a must-see for readers of all ages and genres.
This year’s festival will take place in person in a single location, exploring varying timelines and visiting many new worlds.
The event will feature prominent authors including Adrian Tchaikovsky, Cynthia Murphy, David Towsey, Everina Maxwell, Ken Macleod, and local publishers Twisted Fate discussing their latest books.
Aside from the featured authors, the festival will also showcase a range of creative events, exhibitions, a pop-up library, soundscapes, and workshops.
Visitors will have the chance to participate in various activities and immerse themselves in the world of literature.
For those unable to attend the festival in person, the Cosmia Festival 2023 has an extensive eAudio and eBook collection. Visitors can browse, download and read or listen to titles from the featured authors.
The festival will take place in the stunning Barbara Hepworth Building, the home of the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Huddersfield.
Refreshments and free parking will be available on the day.
