After a series of back-to-back sold-out performances in London, Focus Arts Promotions is set to bring the critically acclaimed comedy stage play Midlife Crisis: For Better Not Worse to Huddersfield on Sunday, 6 April 2025.
Written by internationally renowned playwright and poet Alan Charles, Midlife Crisis delves into the challenges faced by a couple as they navigate the complexities of midlife.
After 26 years of marriage, with the children grown and the mortgage paid off, they believe it’s finally “their time”—only for a midlife crisis to take hold.
The play has garnered exceptional feedback from audiences across the Caribbean and the UK.
It has already been performed in cities including London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, and Luton, where it has been praised for its relatable themes and humour.
Midlife Crisis is a heartfelt exploration of life, love, family, and the trials of gracefully aging. With its blend of humour and depth, the play is ideal for all ages and captures the essence of life as seen through the lens of art.
The performance will take place at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield on Sunday, 6 April, with showings at 3 pm and 7 pm.
