The Town Centre Comes Alive with a Two-Week Celebration of Easter
Brighouse is set to welcome families for an egg-citing two weeks of Easter fun, including a thrilling Easter Egg Trail and free activities for children during the school holidays.
From Saturday 5th to Monday 21st April, 23 shops and businesses across the town centre will display beautifully decorated porcelain eggs in their windows. Each egg will have a letter attached, forming part of a four-word puzzle for eager hunters to unscramble.
Once the correct words are revealed and the Golden Egg is found, participants can enter a draw for the chance to win one of three Easter Goody Bags filled with treats from local Brighouse shops.
Trail Maps, packed with puzzles and quizzes for all ages, are available at the BID Office on Bradford Road, participating shops and businesses, or can be downloaded online at www.visitbrighouse.co.uk/easter.

Alongside the Easter Egg Trail, families can enjoy additional free activities during the school holidays:
- On Wednesday 9th April and Wednesday 16th April, Alice and the Easter Bunny will be ‘hopping’ around the town centre throughout the day, delighting visitors of all ages.
- Also on Wednesday 9th April and Wednesday 16th April at 1pm, Brighouse Central Methodist Church will host a Bubble Workshop, featuring wands, foam blowers, and magical bubble fun.
A Warm Welcome to Families
Helen Holdsworth, Project Manager of Brighouse BID, shared her excitement for the Easter festivities:
“We have a cracking two weeks full of Easter fun planned in Brighouse, and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone out and about visiting, hunting for the colourful eggs and popping into the shops, cafés, and businesses for treats, gifts, and essentials.
“Hop down to the town, keep your eyes peeled, and enjoy our free activities and entertainment. We hope that families will call down and enjoy what Brighouse has to offer during the Easter break.”
With plenty to see and do, Brighouse promises a fantastic Easter celebration for families and visitors of all ages.
