The Huddersfield Town Foundation have announced that they will be delivering a series of Easter Half Term camps for children in Kirklees over the break
Working in partnership with Kirklees Council, Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing and the Department of Education’s Holiday Activities and Food Programme, the Foundation will host a mixture of virtual and in-person activities for local children of both primary and secondary school age, Government restrictions allowing.
Week 1
From Monday 29 March to Wednesday 31 March there will be a variety of digital activities for both primary and secondary school age groups, that will take place on Zoom.
Primary aged sessions include daily live PE and a healthy cook along, whilst secondary school children can take part in a range of workshops, including public speaking, ball mastery and more.
The full primary school age timetable can be viewed as a PDF here, and the secondary school age timetable can be viewed as a PDF here.
The virtual camp is completely free of charge with no restrictions.
Parents can register their child’s interest by filling out the foundation’s online form. Relevant links will be emailed shortly after.

A mixture of virtual sessions will be available for both primary and secondary school-aged children.
Week 2
During the second week of Half Term, from Wednesday 7 April to Friday 9 April, the Foundation will be running an in-person Multi-Sport Camp for 5-11 year olds at Leeds Road Sports Complex, HD2 1YY.
This will run from 9.30 am-3.30 pm each day, with the three-day offering costing £45.
A limited number of places will be able to book from Tuesday the 30th of March.
These sessions will be pending following the Government update to COVID-19 restrictions on Monday 29 March.
If the roadmap is adhered to and restrictions are eased, the plan will go ahead and places will be able to be booked the following day.
Should that not be the case, the foundation shall revert to another virtual camp for the second week of Half Term.
