This Christmas, Leeds-based Italian restaurant LIVIN’Italy are donating £1 from every single Margherita pizza sale to the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District Branch.
The Restaurant hopes that their Christmas campaign will help local animals in need find loving forever homes and of course, raise vital funds for the charity after what has been their hardest year due to the Pandemic.
How it Works
The restaurant is still currently closed due to falling under West Yorkshire’s Tier 3 restrictions, however, they are offering a click and collect service so you can still enjoy dinner at home.
They are also selling their new ‘Twice Baked’ pizza’s online through ArrowFreshUK. For every twice baked Margherita pizza ordered online both LIVIN’Italy and ArrowFreshUK will donate 50p each to the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford to help support the charity and the animals spending Christmas in their care.
‘Incredibly Hard Year’
Speaking about the collaboration, Digital Fundraiser for the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford branch, Fay Gibbons said “We’re so touched by LIVIN’Italy and ArrowFreshUK’s kindness to help fundraise and raise awareness for our Animal Centre this Christmas.
“It’s been an incredibly hard year for all local businesses and charities throughout the Pandemic, so we really hope that people will get behind this campaign and help brighten up Christmas for the animals currently looking for their forever homes this December.
“Every penny raised will go directly to the animals in our care just like Zena the kitten, who sadly lost her ear and tail after being hit by a car.
“We think it’s an amazing opportunity to support a local business and a local charity at the same time, plus, who doesn’t want to eat delicious pizza whilst knowing they’re helping cats, dogs and lots of small animals enjoy a magical Christmas as they await their forever homes!”

Community Generosity
The local RSPCA branch rehabilitate and rehome over 500 animals every single year and rely solely on the generosity of their local community to help raise the funds needed in order to keep the doors of their animal centre open.
Every penny raised will go directly towards caring for the animals in their care. This year, the branch are also running their annual Christmas Meal Appeal where supporters can donate the cost of a meal or treat to brighten up the festive period for their current residents.
You can even select which individual animal you would like to buy a festive treat for here. Or text XMASMEAL to 70085 to donate £1 today.
