Environmental Projects in Kirklees (EPIKS) has announced plans to expand its long-term programme of environmental stewardship through increased engagement with local businesses and the community.

The initiative aims to promote sustainability and foster collaboration on impactful environmental projects across Kirklees.

Opportunities for Business Engagement

Following their successful networking event on the 7th of November, and in keeping with its commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships, EPIKS has promised to host more events of this kind in the future.

However, businesses and individuals interested in participating do not need to wait for the next event.

EPIKS invites local businesses to discuss opportunities for collaboration directly with its directors.

These discussions aim to identify ways businesses can align their corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, and environmental goals with the ongoing projects led by EPIKS.

The organisation is also in the process of developing tailored sustainability packages for businesses and is actively seeking feedback on what would be most beneficial.

Companies are encouraged to share ideas and provide input to ensure these packages meet the needs of the local business community.

This campaign aims to raise £18,251 to fund the revitalisation of walking, wheeling, and riding routes in Kirklees, ensuring they receive much-needed care and attention.

EPIKS encourages businesses and individuals to share the crowdfunding with colleagues and consider making a donation.

As the holiday season approaches, EPIKS highlights that a donation could make a thoughtful and impactful Christmas gift.
