The team from Creative Scene recently brought festive cheer to the residents of Priestley Care Home with an enchanting bubble show.

Renowned bubble entertainer Paris Bubbles made a special appearance, captivating the audience with his unique bubble artistry.

Bubble Magic

During the Birstall Lights Switch-On event, Paris treated the care home residents to an afternoon of mesmerising bubble tricks.

The residents watched in delight as the pioneer in Soap Bubble Art showcased various bubble formations and tricks.

Some residents even had the opportunity to try their hand at bubble-making, adding to the interactive fun.

Bringing Festive Joy Inside

Megan Bailey, Producer for Creative Scene, expressed her joy at the successful event: “Every year we support the Birstall Christmas Lights Switch-On event, and the residents at Priestley always watch from their windows.

“This year, we decided to take the entertainment inside and spread a little festive joy by bringing Paris along.

“Huge thanks to the team at Priestley for allowing us to visit – it was a lovely experience to see residents engage with the artist and have lots of fun with bubbles!”

A Memorable Afternoon

Jenny Thompson, Activities Coordinator at Priestley Care Home, shared her enthusiasm for the event: “We had a wonderful afternoon learning about bubbles and having a go at making them ourselves.

“The residents loved it as it was something a little bit different to watch and get involved with.

“Above all, it made them feel included and part of the wider community event that takes place every year, so thank you to Creative Scene for thinking of us and making it such a special day.”
