At Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice on Thursday 5th October, Ken Davy (President of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice Platinum Partners) presented a Platinum Partner Plaque to Sean Hancock, Regional Operations Manager from the Morley Office of Pinnacle Group Facilities Management.
Pinnacle Group Facilities Management raised £18,041 for the Huddersfield-based children’s hospice at a charity golf event at Fixby Golf Club.
Sean Hancock, Regional Operations Manager from the Morley Office of Pinnacle Group Facilities Management said: “We started working with Forget Me Not about 5 years ago. After we’d done a couple of initiatives with them, they invited us for a tour of the hospice. Once we saw the brilliant work they do there and met the staff we wanted to keep doing more.”
“This year we wanted to take it one step further and we thought of a golf day at Huddersfield Golf Club. We engaged with our supply chain and 20 of our contractors jumped in to support the day. We were aiming to raise £10,000 but we ended up raising over £18,000. We’ll go again next year and try and do the same and continue in a long-term relationship with Forget Me Not.”
“Although it’s Pinnacle Group that’s set up the event, it’s actually our supply chain that’s come together for a common cause. It’s such a wonderful facility at Forget Me Not, people just wanted to get on board with us.”

We look forward to building on the strong relationship we have developed with them so that together we can further support children with life shortening conditions and their families.”
