After a two year gap, Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice’s Colour Run event will return. The run has found a new home in Huddersfield’s Greenhead Park.
The run will return this summer on 30 July. The summer will see hundreds of people take on a 3.5km walk, jog or run through clouds of coloured powder. The Colour Run is a flagship event for raising money for the children’s charity. Each year, the run usually raises thousands of pounds to support their vital work.

“Thrilled to bring it back”
Vicky Stackhouse, events fundraiser at Forget Me Not, said: “The Colour Run is one of our most popular and exciting events, so we’re absolutely thrilled to bring it back this year – and at such a great location, right in the heart of Huddersfield!
“Our Colour Run raised an incredible £26,000 in 2019 – every penny of which helped us support children with life-shortening conditions and their families in the local community.
“Not being to hold this event since then has obviously been really difficult, both in terms of fundraising but also because it’s such a great community event. We really hope people come together and get involved again this year.
“Because after two years that have been distinctly lacking in colour, and with lots of fun to be had, this Colour Run is definitely not to be missed!”
