Families urged to snap up 20% saving for popular charity event
Early bird tickets have gone on sale for the much-loved Colour Run organised by Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, with participants able to save 20% by booking in the coming weeks.
The vibrant event will take place at Greenhead Park on Saturday 13 June 2026, where up to 1,000 people are expected to take part in a 3km or 5km walk, jog or run through clouds of colourful powder.
A firm favourite among supporters across West Yorkshire, last year’s event raised more than £42,000 to support the hospice’s work with local babies and children living with life-shortening conditions, as well as their families.

A celebration of colour, community and cause
Vicky Lough, event manager at Forget Me Not, said: “Every year we’re dazzled, moved and inspired by our fabulous supporters, old and new, gathering to celebrate, make memories and remember at the Colour Run.
“It’s a great opportunity to get messy, be silly and have fun while helping our vital work supporting local children and families to make the most of every moment they have together.
“Our Colour Run is perfect for all the family, for groups of friends, for teams and for workmates.
“We’re planning a fun-packed day with food stalls, refreshments, face painting, music and plenty of entertainment throughout. And, of course, all the colours of the rainbow!
We’re keen to get lots of early bookings this year so people can get busy raising sponsorship, so we’re offering our best-ever early bird discount- a full 20% off full price and 35% off the price on the day.
“Early bird tickets are only available until 12th April, so round up your gang and get planning for Colour Run!”

Early booking encouraged
Organisers are encouraging participants to book early to take advantage of the discounted rate and maximise fundraising efforts ahead of the event.
