Fully funded courses offer local people the chance to gain qualifications, develop skills and improve their employment prospects

Local people aged 19 and over can access a range of fully funded learning opportunities through Kirklees Adult Learning.

The programme offers courses designed to help residents gain new qualifications, develop practical skills and improve their chances of finding work.

Courses available across a range of subjects

There are opportunities available in a variety of areas, including:

• Digital and IT
• Hospitality
• ESOL and English
• Employability
• Early Years and Childcare
• Confidence and Personal Development
• Construction
• Health and Social Care

Courses begin throughout the year, giving local people opportunities to start learning at different points.

Support with finding work

As well as training and qualifications, Kirklees Adult Learning can provide support with CVs, job applications, interviews and careers advice.

Bus fare assistance may also be available to eligible learners, helping to make it easier for people to access courses.

The programme is aimed at supporting people at different stages of their learning and employment journey, whether they are looking to gain their first qualification, build confidence, learn new skills or take their next step into work.
