GO Outdoors has officially opened its doors at Huddersfield’s Leeds Road Retail Park, bringing a new destination for outdoor enthusiasts to the town.

A special grand opening event is set for Saturday, 12 April, featuring England football legend and Yorkshire native David Seaman.

The former Arsenal and England goalkeeper will cut the ribbon at 9 AM, alongside Huddersfield Town FC mascot Tilly the Terrier.

Adding a historic touch to the event, the store stands on the site where the goalmouth of Huddersfield Town’s former Leeds Road Stadium once lay.

Seaman, who played at the stadium during its final season in 1993, will be returning to familiar ground for the occasion.
