What is HD Soup?
HD Soup is a fundraising event that takes place at the Hive Community Cafe in Huddersfield.
For a small donation of £5, attendees can enjoy a delicious soup supper and network with like-minded individuals.
During the event, three “not-for-profit” organizations will each have three minutes to pitch their project or activities, with the hope of gaining support from the audience. Each attendee will receive one voting token, which they can use to support their favourite pitch.
The organization with the most tokens at the end of the evening will receive all of the £5 contributions taken at the door, as well as any proceeds from raffles and other fundraising initiatives on the night. Any additional drinks purchased will be donated to Hive CIC, who will be preparing and serving all refreshments.
The HD Soup event is set to take place on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023, at the Hive Community Cafe. Please note the new start time of 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. This year, CUTES will be one of the organizations pitching at the event, hoping to secure funding to support their new community Gospelcise class. It promises to be an exciting and inspiring evening for all involved.
The HD Soup event provides an excellent opportunity for CUTES to showcase their project and attract support from potential funders. The group is excited about the prospect of potentially receiving funding to help bring their vision to life.
Overall, the community Gospelcise class promises to be a fantastic way to bring people together, stay fit, and experience the vibrant music and dance of the Caribbean.
