Charity launches refreshed brand as it continues to support wellbeing through nature
Growing Works has unveiled a refreshed brand identity designed to better reflect the charity’s growth, values and increasing impact across Kirklees.
The Kirklees-based organisation, which supports children, adults and families through nature-based wellbeing programmes, says the new look represents an important milestone as it continues to expand its services and reach more people across the district.
The updated branding brings together the charity’s core values of community, inclusion, compassion, wellbeing and sustainability, while highlighting its commitment to harnessing the restorative power of the outdoors.
Reflecting growth and community spirit
Chief Executive Kat Woolley said the refreshed identity captures the essence of what Growing Works has become.
“Our organisation has a huge impact on those that we work with, and we wanted a brand that truly represents who we are today. This refresh captures the warmth, energy and community spirit at the heart of Growing Works. We’re excited to share it with the people of Kirklees and continue building spaces where everyone can thrive.”
The rebrand comes as Growing Works continues to develop and deliver programmes that help people improve their wellbeing, build confidence and strengthen their connection with nature.
Collaborative design rooted in nature
The new identity was developed in partnership with YWT Design Studio, which worked closely with the charity to create a visual style that is modern, accessible and inspired by the natural world.
Growing Works offers a range of services including outdoor family support, horticultural therapy, accessible gardening sessions and wellbeing activities for people with additional needs.
The refreshed branding will be introduced across the charity’s sites, digital platforms and community materials over the coming weeks.
Sally Gregory from YWT Design Studio said: “It’s been a real pleasure to work with Growing Works on a brand refresh that reflects who they are and the positive impact they have in the community.
“The project has been a genuinely enjoyable collaboration, and we are over the moon with the final result. We hope the refreshed brand will help them continue to connect and inspire people for years to come”
Raising awareness and encouraging involvement
Growing Works hopes the new brand identity will help raise awareness of its work and encourage more local people to get involved through volunteering, referrals, partnerships and donations.
The charity believes the refreshed look will strengthen its connection with communities across Kirklees while supporting its mission to create opportunities for people to thrive through nature and wellbeing.
