Local Parks
With multiple parks, the family can get wrapped up and hop on bikes or scooters for an adventure. With the Playable Spaces project, young people in Kirklees can enjoy improved play spaces.

50 Things to do Before your 5
Below is a link that provides examples of 50 things for parents/guardians and children to experience together. From woodland wandering to making music, plenty is available to keep the family engaged and entertained.

Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP)
The YSP offers entry prices of £3 after 3 pm for visits, where families can go to after school for a walk to spot art outdoors, play in Little Wild Wood, and grab a bite to eat.
Adult entry to YSP is £3 after 3 pm, and children go free. Parking is free too and there is no need to book in advance.
Offer valid daily until Sunday 29th September 2024.
Indoor galleries close at 4 pm, with last entry to the Park at 5 pm, and the grounds open until 6 pm.
