Heritage Open Weekend at Oakwell and Red House

Enjoy free entry to two local historic houses as part of the national Heritage Open Weekend. Oakwell Hall in Birstall and Red House in Gomersal will be free to enter on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September.
There will be craft activities for children all weekend at Red House, Oxford Road, Gomersal. On Sunday, 11 September, there will be demonstrations of traditional crafts and pastimes with the Friends of Red House.
The Friends of Oakwell will be leading traditional craft activities all weekend at the house on Nova Lane, Birstall.
On Sunday, 11 September The fabulous Artisan Emporium where you can buy unique gifts,  local crafts and yummy produce will also return to the Oakwell Visitor Centre.
Both houses are open 12noon to 5pm
