Huddersfield Town superfan Maureen Procter received a heartwarming surprise at her favourite local café, Merrie England, to mark her 92nd birthday.

The lifelong Terriers supporter was joined by Huddersfield Town Legend, Ambassador Andy Booth, and Merrie England Director Ian Coumont for the special occasion.

The celebration was filled with thoughtful touches to honour Maureen’s dedication to the club.

Among her gifts was a set of custom-made mugs featuring the logos of both Huddersfield Town and Merrie England, blending her love for the team with her fondness for the café.

Adding to the festivities, the chefs at Merrie England crafted a bespoke Huddersfield Town-themed Victoria sponge cake, delighting Maureen and guests alike.

The event highlighted the strong community spirit shared by the club and its loyal supporters, making Maureen’s milestone birthday a truly memorable occasion.
