Huddersfield Town will host Stoke City in the EFL Championship tonight at the John Smiths Stadium. 19:45 Kick-Off.
Team News
After a good run of form that has seen them go nine games unbeaten in all competitions, Huddersfield are currently 6th in the table, finally back in the playoffs position.
Another three points tonight are going to be vital for Huddersfield to try and give them as much leeway as possible in what’s looking to be a very competitive side of the table.
Huddersfield previously played Reading where goals were not a problem for either side, with the match ending 3-4 in the Terriers favour.
Ultimately, it’s all about how well Huddersfield can continue to build on the momentum of their recent good form. If they come out on top in their next few games, it would put them in good stead as we move towards the end of the season.
Stoke City
Stoke City are currently 11th in the table with their past five games not going the way they would have liked. A quick turnaround will be a must for the Potters.
Their last game was not the best result, Stoke previously played Coventry away where the game resulted in a 1-0 loss after a late goal coming in from Gyokeres in the 70th minute.
Even though Stoke held good possession of the ball they could not find the net and didn’t even manage to have a shot on target.
One player to watch for is Jacob Brown the young forward has scored 6 goals already this season and I’m sure that he will be looking for more at any given opportunity.
Prediction
