A label that’s already set student nightlife ablaze with their popular ‘In the Trap’ nights and other contemporary Hip-Hop nights, ‘The Bridge’ is on the brink of becoming one of Huddersfield’s most talked about and exciting record labels out right now.
Taking place on the 1st of February from 23:00 at Huddersfield’s best rave space, Bassment, the launch night will serve as a precursor for some of the highly promising and innovative talent coming out of the town right now.
With its first release already sold out, with current online tickets sitting at £5 and OTD tickets sitting at £7, the event will showcase a myriad of new releases, project teases and promise a slew of vivid and immersive soundscapes. Primarily a master class introduction to the label’s penchant for bass genres, with Dubstep, Grime, Drum ‘n’ Bass and Baseline all being spun through the night, the event will demonstrate how strongly they’re sitting at the forefront of oncoming musical trends.

Acts
The event roster boasts the likes of Shaun Dean, an already well-established name in Huddersfield and a rising star in the Bassline scene. With accolades such as multiple Deeprot hits and a recent performance at New York’s highly famed Bassfest Summer Festival, his set will have the venue booming in more ways than one. Possibly the most recognisable rising star right now, Jamo, the mastermind behind 2019’s highly applauded Rooted events, will also be spinning a range of heavy dubs. Tommy Lee also promises to be a must-see with a flurry of originally produced bassy bangers that easily match the level of some of the best electronic music that the UK has to offer. The night will also feature MCing from El Tribe, a hot prospect who’s just made a mark with a recent video for his song ‘Take notes’ on Rosko Records, and the debut of Nish whose Hip-Hop stylings are set to wow audiences.
Other acts featured include; Shannko, one of the most diverse DJs out right now, HXLLOWAY, an act that easily shifts between sunny Garage and destructive Liquid DnB as well as a range of other acts.
With support from Future Formation’s renowned Soundsystem, the event will definitely be one for the books. Check out the line-up below and as well as their promo video.
