Organisers of one of Huddersfield newest festivals have announced some of their headlining acts
The festival will take place in Greenhead Park from Friday 30th of August to the Sunday the 1st after its debut at Storthes Hall last year.
80s rock band “Big Country” has been announced as one of the headlining acts who will play the main stage on Saturday 31st of August.
The Scottish country band had hits such as ‘In a Big Country’ and ‘Look Away’ their latest album ‘the Journey’ released in 2013.
Martin Ballard, organiser of Huddfest has said: “The first year was a struggle for us as we came up with the idea late in the festival calendar so we tried to miss every other one, but the day after a really fun day up at Storthes Hall we were on the phone to the council booking Greenhead Park for this year and the event has just snowballed!”
The festival includes a DJ tent with a range of artists playing including world-renowned Ellie Sax, Old Skool R&B DJ Danny Oakes and highly sought after Ryan Swain.
To keep the kids occupied there will be a separate family tent where kids can meet their favourite superhero’s a well as try out the free Gaming Lounge. This year VR headsets will be available to use alongside games such as Beat Sabre, Super hot and many more.
KLTV will stay updates with artists due to be announced in the coming weeks.
