The Huddersfield Literature Festival (HuddLitFest) team has initiated a survey to gather public opinion on the potential launch of a new Deighton Arts Festival next year.
HuddLitFest, a multi-award-winning annual literature festival, takes place every spring at various venues across Huddersfield and online.
This year, the festival committee aims to expand its reach by organizing more events for local communities, including those in Deighton and the Ashbrow Ward.
To ensure the festival meets community expectations, the team is seeking direct feedback from residents on what they would like to see at the proposed Deighton Arts Festival in May 2025.
The survey invites local residents to share their views on various aspects of the festival, including preferred activities and the anticipated benefits for the community.
As an added incentive, participants will have the chance to enter a prize draw to win a unique HuddLitFest tote bag filled with books from the 2024 festival.
The survey takes just five minutes to complete and can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DeightonSurvey or by scanning the QR code in the image provided.
HuddLitFest encourages all residents to participate and contribute their ideas to help shape the future of the Deighton Arts Festival.
