Cyber-crime is a growing threat to UK public, business and government with claims for data breaches by business being made at a rate of more than one per day as reported by the CFC. The Federation of Small Businesses reported the cost of attacks was around £5.26 billion to the UK economy. The aims and objectives of this conference is to raise cyber awareness built around the 10 steps to cyber security; to provide an environment and opportunity for professionals to network and share experiences and solutions; connect industry, academia and law enforcement to drive innovation and creativity to find effective and efficient methods to protect businesses and pursue cyber criminals, and to promote the CiSP network and membership. The audience will be made up of small, medium enterprises from around the Yorkshire and Humber region, law enforcement, police partners and industry and academic partners.
