Police are searching for two men after a teenager was stabbed in Huddersfield town centre this morning.
The 19-year-old victim sustained minor stab wounds to his back after a night out.
His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
It is believed that the teen was involved in an unprovoked attack when approached by two men, in their early 20’s, wearing dark clothing.
The teen injured visited hospital shortly after 6 am.
A police spokesperson has said that investigation into the incident continues, including analysis of surrounding CCTV in the area.
A nearby resident to the club said she heard screams and people shouting in the early hours of last night, “People should be able to enjoy their night out without the risk of violent attacks occurring”.
Parts of John William Street and both sides of Bryam Court had been cornered off following the incident.
