Higher education provider marks sixth anniversary with ambitious plans to develop the next generation of transformational leaders

The Institute for Equity, University Centre (IEUC) has announced a major expansion of its academic offering, launching three new specialist schools as it celebrates six years of delivering higher education.

The new structure, which officially launches on 3 July ahead of the institution’s sixth anniversary on 4 July, is designed to strengthen IEUC’s role in developing leaders capable of driving organisational and social change across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

The expansion introduces three dedicated academic schools alongside an enhanced executive education portfolio, reflecting the institute’s mission of “Developing Individuals, Changing Organisation & Society.”

Three schools to support every stage of professional development

The newly launched schools will provide specialist learning pathways for professionals at different stages of their careers.

The School of Leadership Transformation will focus on postgraduate and executive education, offering MBA and Level 7 Certificate and Diploma programmes centred on leadership transformation, strategic governance, inclusion and innovation.

The School of Policy & Society will become the home of IEUC’s flagship EDI Fellowship programme, serving as a centre for advanced research and specialist expertise.

Meanwhile, the School of Applied Learning and Work will provide practical leadership development for frontline practitioners, supervisors, senior staff and aspiring leaders, with an emphasis on improving workplace performance, team cohesion and inclusive organisational cultures.

Executive programmes redesigned for organisational change

As part of the expansion, IEUC has also relaunched its flagship postgraduate qualifications under the banner Leadership for Organisational & Social Transformation.

The revised portfolio includes Certificates, Diplomas and an Executive MBA designed to equip leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to lead large-scale organisational reform. The programmes place increased emphasis on corporate governance and risk management while maintaining existing academic standards and compliance with current benchmarks.

The institute will also offer tailored cohort programmes for organisations, with flexible block teaching available either online or through in-person delivery to accommodate the needs of employers and public sector organisations.

Looking to the future

“By launching these three distinct schools, we are opening up an incredible, seamless academic ladder where professionals can enter at any stage of their career, build practical skills, and scale their qualifications all the way up to an executive MBA”

The institute says the new three-school model will also create greater opportunities for partnerships with businesses and public sector organisations by offering bespoke cohort programmes designed to strengthen leadership pipelines and address emerging organisational challenges.

The first students will begin studying within the three new schools in September 2026, marking the next chapter in the Institute for Equity, University Centre’s continued growth and commitment to developing leaders who can deliver meaningful organisational and social transformation.
