Kirklees Council outlines planned works, car park closure and continued investment in local transport
Kirklees Council has published details of a number of roadworks scheduled to begin across the borough in January.
Roadworks are carried out for many reasons, including resurfacing, essential repairs, layout improvements and the replacement of road markings and signage.
The council also supports partner organisations such as utility companies, whose pipes and cables run beneath the highway, and developers who need to alter road access to complete construction works.
Residents are encouraged to check the council’s Roadworks webpage to view live maps and the most up-to-date information on all works taking place.
