Fancy being part of a local photoshoot? Chris and Laura, who both organised the recent ‘The Joy of a Roar’ mask making session, are inviting you to take part in a studio photoshoot!
You will have to wear one of the vibrant lion masks and be photographed in active poses such as sports or dance poses. There will even be lots of props to use thanks to Sovereign Sports of Marsh, HTFC, Huddersfield Giants and other supporters.
Then, the images will be printed off into life-size versions and installed across Huddersfield Town Centre. The images will form a temporary street art gallery.
Want to join?
Chris and Laura have a studio book for Saturday 12 March, 10am – 5pm. The photoshoot will take approximately 15 minutes and you can choose a time that suits you.
To join the photoshoot and book your place you can use We Join In link. On the form, simply click the timeslot and click join to add your name.
The photoshoot is taking place at a studio in the University of Huddersfield’s Barbara Hepworth Building:
Barbara Hepworth Building
University of Huddersfield campus
The site has easy access available and they ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your time slot at the entrance opposite the Toast House Café.
The buildings are highlighted on the University campus map as 36 and 41.
There will be no parking on campus available and once arrived, you will be welcomed by an usher to guide you to the studio.
If you plan to wear sports or dance costumes, the organisers ask that you try to arrive already wearing it. However, you can change on arrival if needed. Additionally, they ask that people do not wear white clothing or bold colours that clash.
