Students praised for hard work and determination

Students at Kirklees College are celebrating after achieving outstanding results across a range of Level 3 and T Level courses, with many now preparing to progress to university, apprenticeships and successful careers.

The results reflect the hard work and determination of students throughout their time at the college, alongside the support and guidance provided by their tutors.

Business students secure top results

Business students are among those celebrating exceptional achievements.

Seb Golby achieved a triple Distinction on his Level 3 course and has now accepted a place at York University. Aziz Hashmi and Anesu Mujawo also achieved the same exceptional set of results.

On the T Level in Management and Leadership, every student achieved either a Distinction or Merit. Among those celebrating were Eden Aliyu, Jesse Njahia and Bailey Walsh.

Education students prepare for university and employment

Students studying Education and Early Years courses are also celebrating their achievements.

Lilly Hatfield, Manahil Saeed, Romaisa Ahmed and Kiran Hussain have all secured places at their first-choice universities, where they will continue their studies in Early Years or Primary Education.

Two further students, Zahra Iqbal and Zara Nasir, have secured employment after thriving in their placement settings.

Students take their next steps into careers

For many students, their achievements have already opened the door to exciting career opportunities.

Josh Taylor achieved a Distinction in his Electrical T Level after working incredibly hard over the past two years.

He has now secured an apprenticeship with Ryan Electrical & Lighting in Huddersfield.

Aiden King has also secured an apprenticeship after completing his Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.

Aiden joined the college studying the Level 2 Certificate in Engineering and has demonstrated significant progress throughout his education and training.

Amelia Smith achieved two Merits and a Distinction in Animal Management Level 3 and has secured a technician role at Kirklees College’s Taylor Hill site following a successful interview.

Students on Digital Development and Computing courses are also making their mark. William Burge is in the process of securing a cyber security role within the retail sector, while Jacob Thomas has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by establishing his own company and working freelance as a full-stack developer for a range of clients.
