On Thursday 20th June, a collaborative event for the National Market Traders Federation (NMTF) Young Trader of the Year Competition is being held at the Huddersfield Open Market.
Huddersfield Market is working with Kirklees College to support the next generation of Kirklees entrepreneurs in showcasing their businesses. From homemade jewellery to sweet treats, there will be lots on offer.
The Market is a great opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to test their ideas in front of a buying public and is open to those aged between 16 and 30. All the young traders will be judged as part of the NMTF Young Trader of the Year Campaign, and the best will be invited to attend the National Final in Skipton later in the summer.
The event will be held at Huddersfield Open Market from 10 am to 2:30 pm.
