With the upcoming four-day break in the devastating war between Israel and Hamas. A local councillor has called for peace and a permanent end to the conflict.
Ashbrow Ward Councillor Zarina Amin has made a heartfelt appeal for peace and unity. Cllr Amin, known for her community leadership, has urged residents to come together and pray for a resolution to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Expressing her concern over the humanitarian crisis and the toll it takes on innocent lives, Councillor Amin emphasised the need for a peaceful dialogue to end the violence. In her passionate statement, she said, “When I watch the videos, see the pictures and the devastation, I tear up. I don’t wish what’s happened on anybody”.

“I call on people of all faiths; to please pray together for peace in the Middle East, and our communities here”, Cllr Amin added.
