The Institute for Equity, University Centre has appointed Mr Lindel “Johnny” Flowers as its first-ever Pro-Chancellor, in what marks a major milestone for the institution’s leadership and mission to drive meaningful social transformation.

A widely respected entrepreneur, he has spent decades advancing fairness, inclusion and empowerment across underrepresented communities.

In his new role as Pro-Chancellor, Mr Flowers will play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of the Institute for Equity, University Centre.

He will also serve as an ambassador for the institution, supporting its mission through innovative learning, research, business support and public engagement.
