Donations, reindeer and a winter wonderland planned to ensure every child receives a Christmas gift
Pinnacle Housing, part of Pinnacle Group, has launched a major festive initiative to ensure children living across its Kirklees estates wake up to a present on Christmas morning.
Working on behalf of Kirklees Council, the organisation provides facilities and maintenance services to 465 council homes and three Extra Care independent living schemes across 29 sites, many of which include families for whom Christmas can be a challenging time.
The initiative aims to “bring the magic back to the season” for households that might otherwise struggle to celebrate.
Donations Pour In as Community Pulls Together
Thanks to the generosity of contractors and partners, more than £2,700 has already been raised, with contributions continuing to grow.
Every pound will go directly towards providing gifts for children across the estates.
To mark the effort, a special Christmas celebration will take place on Friday, 12 December at the Millbridge View estate in Liversedge.
Families attending will be greeted by a winter wonderland, an appearance from Santa and even real reindeer, a festive experience designed to spread joy and bring the community together.
“Christmas is about togetherness, joy, and hope. For many families, these moments are hard to come by — and that’s why we’re determined to make this season magical,” said Liam Needham, Housing Contract Manager at Pinnacle Group.
“Seeing the smiles on children’s faces is the greatest gift of all.”
