This May bank holiday, local RSPCA branch is celebrating their small and fluffy creatures with a Furry Friends Open Day.
On Monday 2nd May you’ll have the chance to meet the animal centre’s residents, from rabbits to ferrets.
The event will run from 12pm to 3pm at the RSPCA Animal Centre on Wade Street, Halifax, HX1 1NS. The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford branch is self-funded and is engaging with the local community to raise vital funds and spread awareness of the charity’s work.
The local RSPCA invites people to the interactive day to learn and meet animals, along with stalls, food, drink and games.
If visitors would like to bring donations along with them for the animals, the local centre is currently short on Felix kitten food and dog toys.
Additionally, you can bring any unwanted clothing, teddies or home items for their RSPCA Charity Shops, which also help raise vital funds for the Animal Centre.

The Charity Shops are a vital source of funding for the Animal Centre and any stock donated would be much appreciated.
