The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District branch’s ‘K9 Party in the Park’ is returning this summer. The annual dog show will take place this year in Halifax’s Manor Heath Park on Sunday 3 July.
The event has run for over 22 years and helps raise vital funds for the local charity branch as well as awareness.
The branch is self-funded, and each crucial donation goes towards the up to 500 animals they care for and rehome each year.
The day is family-friendly with local trade stalls, games, rides, music, food, drink and the main event – a fun dog show. Dogs and their families can take part on the day and could win an official RSPCA rosette.
‘Bigger and Better’
Fay Gibbons, Digital Fundraiser said “Our K9 Party In The Park event is something we’re really proud of. The dog show itself has been running for an incredible 22 years and it’s only getting bigger and better! There really is something for everyone to enjoy on the day and we love seeing our supporters having fun and getting those tails wagging! So pop the date in your diary now and make sure you don’t miss the best fun dog show in town!”

Join in the K9 Party fun!
The event is free to attend. However, donations are really appreciated as the local branch is completely self-funded. The first 600 party goers will receive a free goodie bag too.
From 11:30am people can register their dog for the dog show for £2.00 ( cash and card). However, the charity is encouraging people who will be entering the dog show to download and fill out an online entry form from their website.
There will be a special class competition for all those who cannot attend the dog show on the day – Absent Friends. The Absent Friends category is for all those dogs who are no longer with us or cannot attend due to behavioural issues, old age, or other reasons. You can enter this class online.
